A PETERSFIELD teacher who downloaded child pornography on to his computer from the Internet has had his four-month prison sentence replaced by a conditional discharge at London's Criminal Appeal court.
Jonathan Bowden (30) of Rushes Road had his jail term replaced with a 12-month conditional discharge after Lord Justice Otton told the appeal court that he was satisfied that the principal of the sentence of imprisonment was wrong and "manifestly excessive."
