POLICE in Alton have been working closely with partner agencies to reduce anti-social behaviour in the Park Close Road area of the town. For the last three months, police have been working with Drum Housing Association to take action regarding a family living in Park Close Road. The family were involved in anti- social behaviour which residents believed significantly impacted upon their lives. Inspector Simon Dodds said: "If you are intent on making life a misery for others then the police will work with other agencies to put a stop to this. "Officers have spoken to the community and handed out letters and taken part in frequent partnership meetings to discuss the progress of the case." Jacci Price, Drum's housing manager, said: "Drum Housing Association is working with the police and other relevant agencies to ensure that any forms of anti-social behaviour are firmly dealt with. This type of activity affects those living in the community, be they Drum tenants or not, and it is vital that people feel able to make a complaint and know that we will work together to make neighbourhoods a safer and more pleasant place to live."
