TEDDIES and friends turned out in force for the annual picnic at Haslemere Museum.
The theme was Space to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and there was a prize for the best-dressed furry entry.
More than 250 visitors enjoyed the fun at the event on August 22, which included stalls and games in the garden and a galleries trail.
Those who had ordered a picnic also received a postcard of museum mascot Arthur the Bear, on the moon.
Education officer Kay Topping said: “It was lovely to see the garden with loads of people having fun at the stalls, playing games and tucking into picnics.
“I was also very impressed with the wonderful Space-dressed teddies – lots of kitchen foil was used.
“The museum would like to thank the volunteers, who manned the stalls, painted lots of little faces and made the sandwiches.
“They made the day possible and added to the family atmosphere of the event.”
