DAREDEVIL teddy bears will again take the plunge from the 115ft spire of St Andrew’s Church in Farnham on Saturday, September 12, as part of the parish fayre and Heritage Open Days celebrations.
The famous teddy bear parachute jump is just one of the many things to do and buy at St Andrew’s fayre, taking place between noon and 4pm to raise funds for the upkeep of Farnham’s 14th century parish church.
Other attractions will include children’s games, toys, ice creams, a clothes stall, jewellery and scarves, bottle, plant and bric-a-brac stalls, a lucky dip, cakes, preserves and a grand draw.
Another ‘high’ light is Mr Giant the Big Entertainer with lots of tricks and fun, while there will be musical items entertaining everybody during the afternoon.
Refreshments will range from light lunches to tea, coffee and a barbecue, and in the event of bad weather, the festivities will continue inside the church.
