A TEENAGE driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving after a double fatality on the A339 Alton to Basingstoke road.
A black Nissan Micra tried to overtake a blue vehicle at 6.30pm on Saturday, near the Hackwood House turning.
The rider of a black Triumph Speed Flight motorcycle, travelling behind the Micra, lost control and hit a road sign.
Julian Farley, 25 and his pillion passenger, Jessica Ellis, 23, both from Tudor Crescent, Cosham, died at the scene.
The Nissan driver, a 17-year-old boy from Alton was unhurt and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
