A VISIT to the Breeze Radio studio was won by ‘Teen Tech’ competitors from St Nicholas’ School in Church Crookham.

Ten year 8 pupils were split into two teams in a ‘Teen Tech Day’ at Basingstoke, and activities included creating an advertisement to be broadcast on Breeze Radio. Teams from different schools competed to win a studio visit.

Teen Tech winners Izzy Cann, Nina Carter, Alice Cleak, Cara-Lou Hutchinson and Hannah Trueman, were given the opportunity to read the news and the weather forecast with three of the station’s presenters. They also learned about how the station is financed and run, as well as its events management and advertising.
