A TEENAGER has suffered a broken nose following an unprovoked attack outside a Petersfield takeaway.

A group of youths attacked the 18 year old and his friends while they were standing outside Petersfield Kebab House in the early hours of last Saturday.

The victims were eating food they had just bought when they were approached by the youths at 12.30am.

The group was goaded by the attackers before the teenage victim was headbutted and suffered a fractured nose which needed hospital treatment.

Pc James Street has urged anyone who saw the attack outside the Chapel Street takeaway to come forward.

He said: "A man sustained a fractured nose in this unprovoked attack by a group of youths. If you have any information, please get in touch and help us find those responsible."
