A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a crash closed the A31 Farnham bypass for some two and a half hours on a Sunday afternoon.

A man in his teens was treated for a cut to the head and the driver of one of the vehicles – an 18 year old from Haslemere – was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession of cannabis.

He was released on bail, pending further enquiries, to return to Guildford police station, on Monday, April 11.

Surrey Police said the cars involved in a collision on the eastbound carriageway between the Shepherd and Flock roundabout and Hickley’s Corner included a black Land Rover Discovery, a white Nissan Juke, a silver Peugeot 206 and a blue BMW 316, on February 21.
