HINDHEAD working men's club could be demolished and replaced with 10 new homes if plans are accepted by Waverley Borough Council.

The proposal, by Knowles Brothers Developments, is for seven two-bedroom houses, two one-bedroom flats and one two-bedroom flat with garages and parking, following the demolition of the existing club in Grove Road.

Waverley was unable to provide any more information regarding the details of the plan before going to press.

The application will be discussed at a forthcoming meeting of the southern area development control committee.
