BRIGHTWELL Tennis Club will be opening its doors to local people to try tennis for free as part of the LTA Great British Tennis Weekend on Saturday, May 12.

The focus this year is on the whole family getting involved.

There will be 30-minute coaching sessions at 10.30am, 11am and 11.30am for adults and children to participate in together and from noon to 2pm there is ‘free play’ when the courts are available for anyone to have a go.

There will be demonstration rackets provided Pure Racket Sports and a speed gun to test your serve.

Off court there will be refreshments including cakes, drinks and a barbecue.

Great offers on the day will include no joining fee for new members and discounted coaching courses.

All equipment will be provided but participants are asked to wear non-marking trainers and suitable clothing.
