FUN was had by all as 24 pupils aged between nine and 11 took part in another successful schools’ tennis tournament at The Bourne Club in Farnham.
The Bourne Club welcomed children from Rowledge and St Polycarp’s schools with head pro Andy Warry running the show.
They all battled it out but it came down to a deciding final between the two schools, with St Polycarp’s winning on the last point.
Andy said: “It was great to see so many children enjoying tennis, inspired by Wimbledon, and it was a pleasure to give them all a prize for participating.”
“We are keen to welcome more children and young families to the club and have recently introduced a new family membership, which is heavily discounted to encourage the whole family to take part in tennis, badminton, racketball or squash at The Bourne Club and to enjoy its brand new gym.”
