SAUCY Haslemere University of the Third Age’s cooking for men group served up their version of the Calendar Girls to promote their Gourmet Geezers Cookbook.

Ken Griffiths, spokesman for ‘The Colander Boys’, said: “We are all men of a certain age, with enough time on our hands to pursue an interest in cooking.

“It was important to us to promote our book because every penny of our profits from the book will go to the Hunter Centre, supporting those living with dementia.”

The naughty cookbook will be launched at Haslemere Bookshop on May 14, from 5-8pm. Copies are also available online at gourmetgeezers.com.
