FARNHAM Town first team will have The Golf Shop emblazoned on their shirts this season, following a successful sponsors' prize draw held at the clubhouse last Thursday.
Local companies were invited to offer support in return for a number of prizes. Several sponsors were present on the night, along with most members of Town's new-look committee.
The winner of the first prize was Grahame Cowlishaw, the long-serving PGA professional at Farnham Golf Club, The Sands. The Golf Shop will also have an advertising board on the ground. Grahame pledged further support and will have the name on the second-team shirts as well.
Second prize was won by Rexel Senate Electrical Supplies, Farnham who will have the company name on two advertising boards. Third prize winners Style Holidays, Isleworth will also have an advertising board at the Memorial Ground and an advert in the match programme.
Farnham chairman Keith Haskell said: "We are very grateful to all the participating companies and look forward to a long and successful partnership with each of them."
Other companies taking part were: Academy Signs, Kar Ling Kwong, Wrights Off-licence, Castles, Farnham Tandoori, Badshot Lea Garden Centre, The Poachers Barn Hotel, and KBO Security.
