A DAZZLING Fireworks Night by Friends of Beacon Hill Primary School is promised at Hindhead Playing Fields on Saturday.

Pupils from Bumblebees reception class made this year’s guy with help from friends in year six for the popular annual PTA event, which will raise vital funds for outdoor learning facilities.

The fireworks display will be choreographed to music and there will be a barbecue plus stands offering food and drinks and ‘glows’ and commences at 4.30pm.

Beacon Hill School Fireworks has been running for more than 20 years and is the biggest event in the school calendar in terms of fundraising. Last year the event proved the most popular yet raising almost £10,000 for Beacon Hill School to fund projects such as a library refurbishment, school minibus and E Safety workshops. This year there are plans to build some outdoor learning facilities.
