PUPILS at Hook Infant School cooked up a Christmas treat at their annual nativity.

‘A Christmas Recipe’ followed four cooks as they looked to find the perfect Christmas recipe.

While not strictly to the usual plot line of a nativity the production still carried the messages and values of the traditional story, including an appearance from a number of well-known characters.

The Year 1 production saw the four cooks made up of two girls and two boys add a number of Christmas ingredients to their mixing bowl in the search of the perfect recipe.

As Santa Claus, robins and snowflakes made their way into the bowl, the chefs, accompanied by a cast of cats and dogs just couldn’t find the perfect mix of Christmas spirit.

That was until Baby Jesus was added to the mix and the whole recipe came together to form a perfect Christmas, with the traditional nativity forming with all the pupils once recipe gold had been struck.

A message of “Christmas is in the heart and it’s about feeling rather than material goods” was behind the production put on by teachers and LSAs .

With a great response from all those involved and spectating, Hook Infant School found the perfect nativity recipe
