AS the campaign grows to save Bordon's Phoenix Theatre from closure, director Jane Dawes was due to find out this week just how much extra rent she will have to pay next year.

Ms Dawes was shocked by the news two months ago that the theatre's landlord, the Ministry of Defence, would from next year be asking for the full commercial rent for the red-brick Edwardian building after years of only charging a peppercorn rent of £250.
