A BREAK-IN at the derelict Redgrave Theatre earlier this month has fuelled criticism over a wasted decade in failing to bring the site into public use.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of burglary within the theatre last week,

leading to calls from the Theatre Association that maintenance and security around Brightwell House and the Redgrave will need to be considerably strengthened, especially as the buildings could remain empty for years.
