A POT of cash that was earmarked for a pair of East Hampshire charities has been stolen from a village pub by a "confident" thief. Donations intended for the Rosemary Foundation and Macmillan Nurses were emptied from a tin outside The Harrow Inn last Saturday. The suspect also had the gall to acknowledge passers-by minutes before the tin was prised open and its contents stolen. It's the third time in three months that charity funds have been stolen from the pub. For full story, see this week's Petersfield Herald.
