THE lack of parking spaces at the Recreation Ground has again been discussed by parish councillors.

Eddie Trotter, Jackie Poole and Jane Ives agreed to set up a working party to undertake a feasibility study into the possibility and expense of extending the car park, including the provision of disabled spaces and repairs to the drainage, as well as resurfacing the entrance from London Road.

The parking area is used by Liphook United Football Club, and the village tennis and bowls clubs’ members, as well as parents taking their children to the play areas, resulting in parking along the main road on match days.
