CANON Andrew White, the cleric known as the Vicar of Baghdad, said he has received threats to his life and to his congregation in Iraq.

The Anglican chaplain, who lives in Liphook when he is not in the Iraqi capital, issued a statement last week following the media publicity about a plan to burn the Koran by American pastor Jerry Jones.
