THREE people were hurt in a head-on crash opposite The Donkey Inn near Elstead on Thursday evening.

The emergency services were alerted to the crash, on the B3001 at Charles Hill between The Donkey and the Seale Road junction, at around 8.50pm on July 27.

A crew from Farnham Fire Station was first on the scene, and posted on Facebook: “Green Watch have recently dealt with a serious road traffic collision near Tilford.

“Being first on scene they provided both scene safety, as well as Immediate Emergency Casualty Care skills until the ambulance service arrived.”

The crash resulted in “a number of casualties” added a spokesman for Surrey Police.

Three ambulance crews also attended and South East Coast Ambulance service reported “a man aged approximately in his 60’s suffered from chest pain and was taken to Royal Surrey County Hospital.”

A further two patients were also taken to the Royal Surrey, however no further details have been given at this time.

The B3001 was closed in both directions for a number of hours after the crash.
