TWO thug brothers are behind bars for leaving a teenager fighting for his life after they unleashed an unprovoked attack on him and his pals outside a Farnham restaurant. Danny-Lee Parratt, 22, and his brother Ricky, 20, fled with three other men as Will Davies lay unconscious in a pool of blood. The yobs launched the violent assault on the innocent group - who had been celebrating Will's and a pal's joint 17th birthday party in Prezzo after Danny-Lee Parratt was chucked out of the nearby Queens Head pub. Will tried to stop the gang attacking his friend - who was curled up in a ball desperately trying to protect his head - but he was punched to the ground. He staggered to his feet and ushered his girlfriend to safety on the other side of the road before one of the brothers swung an "almighty" blow causing him to fall and crack his head on the pavement. He would have been killed if medics had not carried out a life saving operation. Danny-Lee Parratt, of The Chantrys, pleaded guilty to one count of grievous bodily harm, one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of affray. Ricky Parratt, of York Road, Aldershot, pleaded guilty to one count of grievous bodily harm and one count of affray. Both men denied causing grievous bodily harm with intent on Will Davies, but after a seven-day trial at Guildford Crown Court the jury returned guilty verdicts. Simon Connolly, prosecuting, said that Will and his friends had been leaving the restaurant at 10pm on April 22 last year when they were confronted by the louts. He said that Danny-Lee Parratt had been thrown out of the nearby pub, adding: "It is plain as he is passing this group of friends he is looking for trouble." He told the jury: "He started punching one of the youngsters in the group. None of them were looking for or interested in fighting. "Will Davies stepped in to help his friend, throwing punches just really trying to calm things down. He then was punched himself by Danny Parratt and knocked to the ground. Witnesses describe him being kicked while he is on the ground. It then becomes an attack on anybody who intervenes or is nearby." The brothers were remanded in custody until sentence on July 31.
