RESIDENTS aged 65 or over are welcome to attend a friendly free “tea and chat” afternoon at Haslewey Community Centre, in Wey Hill, next month.

Borough councillor Carole King said: “It’s a great chance to drop in for a chat, free hot drink and mince pie, to meet other people of a similar age and to find out more about the services offered by Waverley Borough Council and others.”
