THE Farnham Repair Café is set to return between 10am and 1pm on September 8, at the Farnham United Reformed Church.
There are usually six repair stations covering electrical, laptops, mechanicals, bikes, textiles and furniture, with the last item registered at 12.30pm. Visitors can bring in up to three products per repair café, but can only book one product at a time.
Farnham Repair Café does not complete repairs on petrol driven products, industrial devices, three phase power tools or alter clothing that is less than one year old. Phones can no longer be repaired.
The event is open to all volunteers, whether you have repair skills or want to fix a product, create art or product from waste, help at the welcome desk or network and learn. The team is particularly interested in anyone who would like to upcycle products to join the creative zone.
If an item is larger than hand luggage or unusual, email [email protected] to assess the feasibility of repair. More details can be found at tinyurl.com/yc6982v7.
