Sir, – At the time of writing, the Home Secretary has declared certain foreign individuals in this country to be a threat to national security and is considering having them deported. The right decision and let us hope that he has the backbone and the common sense to enforce it. As expected, there was an immediate and irresponsible reaction from the loony brigade who stated that to deport these unsavoury activists would be against their "human rights". Oh really? And what, pray, would be inhumane about removing people from these shores in a bid to prevent them from playing a part in terrorist actions against their hosts? These are not just my sentiments but are shared by everyone that I speak to on this topic. The British people are sick and tired of the weak government that allows foreigners to enter and reside in our country, only to use and abuse our democratic society for their own ends. We need Rowdy Yates for a Prime Minister who would "round them up and head them out" with immediate effect. It's about time that the scatter-brained do- gooders stopped to think about the human rights of their fellow citizens in their own country. Don't we have a human right to go about our every day lives in a safe and peaceful environment? Don't we have a human right not to be blown up on a bus or train on our way to and from work? Don't we have a human right not to endure evil-minded activists who publicly preach harm against us – and yet are themselves protected by our own government should the same be aimed at them? The British government is wholly responsible for allowing this country to deteriorate to the low standard that we have today by allowing any old Tom, Dick or Harry to enter Britain unconditionally, "legally" or illegally – so it is not unreasonable for the British people to look to the government to rectify this free-for-all madness in the interest of all official British citizens.
