ANTIQUES expert Catherine Southern, who appears on BBC series Antiques Road Trip, visited the Tiny Shop in Lenton Street, Alton, on Good Friday. It is the third time the programme has used the shop for filming.

Owner Rob Raynsford said: “The first time the TV cameras came Margie Cooper was the expert, then it was a Celebrity Road Trip, with Greg Wallice and Charles Hanson. I didn’t expect them to come again and I was pleasantly surprised when they phoned me. They just can’t seem to resist our little shop.”

Ms Southern took her time rummaging through the many interesting items in the shop which sells a wide rane of antiques and collectables.

She finally left, happy with her purchase of a vintage biscuit tin.

The programme is due to be aired on the BBC sometime in the autumn.
