MORE than 1,300 junior players from far and wide and supporters enjoyed the Tri-Counties Tournament at Woolmer Hill Sports Ground, last Sunday.

It was the fourth-year running Haslemere Community Rugby Club hosted the event and the third year running its U11s blue team have won it.

“More than 100 volunteers made it a brilliant day up at the club,” deputy chairman Ged Hall said.

“It was a day of great rugby, good food and most importantly no injuries.”
