A CHRISTMAS wonderland arrived in Bordon at the weekend, complete with Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer and Santa!
But forget Santa’s traditional arrival by sleigh, as this year he caught a lift with the crew at Bordon Fire Station, before making his way to the grotto to hand out gifts donated by Taylor Wimpey’s Duke Quarter.
He was joined by around 1,000 people at Forest Community Centre on Saturday, who were kept entertained with live music by Harbour Pipes & Drums, and two performances by Pumpkin Pantos.
And there was plenty to keep the whole family entertained, with more than 30 stalls to choose from, a snow globe and a visit from the stars of Frozen, Elsa and Olaf, who met the children and sung to end the day.
Curtis Bone, chairman of Whitehill and Bordon Town Partnership said: “We would like to thank Bordon Fire Station, community trust, Tesco Bordon, Bordon Scouts and the Forest Community Centre for working with us. The good news is we will be back on December 5, 2020.
“Everyone at Whitehill and Bordon Town Partnership would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and see you in 2020 for more fun events.”
