TALENTED Toula Brockett has landed her first professional theatre role in multi-award winning West End production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Toula, who attends Haslemere Performing Arts School of Dance and Musical Theatre, said: “My audition was really exciting.

“It was my first audition for a West End show, so I was absolutely over the moon when I found out I’d got it.

“It was fun and I had to learn the script for my character. We had to do a warm up and acting exercises.

“I found out I had a recall the next day. After my recall a few days later, I got the call to say that I had got the part.

“I’ve made a few commercials and I was in a short internet film for international women’s day.

“I train with Haslemere Performing Arts, where my mum teaches musical theatre on a Monday and I attend singing, drama and dance workshops on Saturdays.”

Toula is one of seven children, who alternate two roles, in the 42-strong company currently performing at Palace Theatre.

Based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play by Jack Thorne.
