FARNHAM is seen as "a soft touch" when it comes to deliveries and servicing by the HGVs which cause traffic tailbacks in the town centre Air Quality Management Area throughout the day.

That was the main initial conclusion of a survey of shops and businesses in the centre by Surrey County Council, which found deliveries are allocated according to the severity of on-street restrictions and Farnham is being put at the back of the queue.
