A SPARKLING Petersfield is lit up and ready to go for a bumper run-up to Christmas – complete with the appearance of a guest celebrity to help ramp up the festive excitement.
Thousands of people are expected to enjoy the festive family fun which kicks off tomorrow (Saturday) with the 9am opening of the Winter Wonderland which features a skating rink, Santa's grotto, Victorian children's ride, arts and crafts for children and stalls in the car park next to The Red Lion pub at the top of the town in College Street.
With an official opening by Mary Vincent, the mayor of Petersfield at 11am, the town will be alive with all things festive from now until Christmas Eve.
