PLANS are being made in Alton to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Alton Town Council is planning to fund a permanent commemoration of this summer's Diamond Jubilee, which look set to include the installation of a new clock tower on the existing pavilion at Jubilee Playing Fields, and a similar clock tower on the rebuilt Finnimore Pavilion at Anstey Park.
