FARNHAM'S fate in the South and South East in Bloom competition has been sealed, with the visit of the judges on Monday.

The town must now wait until September 10 to learn if it has repeated the success of the past two years.

Highlights of Farnham Town Council's display, which includes more than 250 tubs and hanging baskets this year, have been the two special floral tributes - one near the war memorial in Gostrey Meadow to mark the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and the second beside the police station to mark the Centenary Year of the Girl Guides.
