CLOTHING retailer White Stuff has celebrated its fifth anniversary in Farnham, raising money for a town venue which supports young people in the process.

Dogflud Way-based 40 Degreez is the official charity of the store on The Borough, which is part of the White Stuff Foundation which was set up in 2010 and boosts charities all over the UK.

Supervisor Debbie Tipper said: “Mooeys, the nails and waxing salon on Castle Street, came down offering manicures at a discounted price, we had handmade jewellery by Kelly at mynewfave, a cake sale brought in and made by our staff, a tombola, and a ‘guess how many sweets are in the jar?’ game, which was supplied by the Traditional Sweet Shop, on Downing Street.

“We haven’t got the exact figure yet of how much we have raised but it was busy and everyone had a really good time, it was a good day. The staff did an amazing job, they are always very supportive of the charity.”
