Three official London 2012 banners, which were attached to railings along the torch relay route, were cut away and stolen over two weeks in July.
Two were removed from the Tesco roundabout around midnight on July 18, while another was stolen from The Square last Sunday.
The culprits have effectively stolen from the public as the colourful "skrim" banners were bought with taxpayers money.
