SELBORNE'S traffic campaign has taken on added urgency this week following news that at least three residents have been struck by passing vehicles while walking through the village.
Campaigners were shocked when Mrs Sue martin called Alton Police to say that a van driver had failed to stop after hitting her as she walked her son, Robert, home from school on Wednesday last week.
