FOOTBALL coach Craig Little has created a novel way for women in Farnham to keep fit through his aptly titled ‘Club Circuits’ sessions.
Instead of your average training sessions, personal trainer Craig now runs evening circuit classes at Licked Bar in The Woolmead, with strobe lighting and a live DJ.
The 31-year-old former Chelsea Ladies’ FC coach from Farnham was originally looking to boost his qualifications and signed up with Premier Training International to study his Level 3 diploma.
“I wanted to improve my fitness coaching to help the team and thought that getting a qualification in personal training would definitely help,” said Craig, who now coaches Fulham Ladies’ FC.

After speaking with the owners of Licked, Craig realised that there was quite a demand for women in the Farnham area who wanted to be trained, but who felt a little intimidated going into the gym.
“I decided to create Club Circuits for women who wanted something a bit different to the everyday PT sessions,” he continued.
“Every Tuesday evening, I run an hour-long circuit training session in the bar, with a live DJ and strobe lighting.
“We’ve been organising the event since February 2015 and the class has really taken off so far – we get between 15 to 25 ladies every week and sometimes we’ve had to turn people away because we’ve been fully booked.”
Ladies of any age can book onto Craig’s class through Facebook, where he also offers discounts to those who book online.
He added: “It’s such a fun way to get fit – I’m on the mic, I have a few local DJs who come every week to provide a real live atmosphere. Through it, I’ve also managed to pick up regular PT clients as well, so it’s really helped keep me busy!”
Now Craig is looking to branch out and create a franchise for the business.
“I’ve been approached by people across the country who have asked if I run the Club Circuits at any other venues because they’d love to do something like this, but it’s just trying to find the time!”
