SOUTH West Trains says no train services will be running on Christmas Day or Boxing Day as usual, and a revised timetable will remain in place until Monday, January 4.

A revised service will run from 7pm on Christmas Eve, with all services finished by 11pm. SWT customer service director Arthur Pretorius said: “We will be running longer trains from lunchtime on Christmas Eve to help people get home or to see friends in time for Christmas Day.”
