HERALD proprietor Sir Ray Tindle has donated £7,500 towards the running costs of the Brightwells Gostrey Centre mini-buses.
Sir Ray was invited to the day centre for older people last week for coffee, cake and, of course, to meet the members and see one of the new mini-buses in person.
After his visit, chairman of the centre’s trustees Lucinda Fleming said: “We are incredibly grateful to Sir Ray Tindle and Tindle Newspapers for his generous donation towards the running costs of our buses.
“Without our buses, most of our clients would not be able to attend our centre and we would not be able to function.
