THE wheels are in motion for major improvements in public transport following a key decision by East Hampshire District Council's cabinet.
District councillor Ken Carter, who has steered the project from the start, was delighted that the cabinet voted to earmark a massive £600,000 to be spent on public transport projects following a study to identify the most feasible and useful projects.
