RESIDENTS from Steep House in Petersfield are assured of more outings and other treats after its annual fete raised £581 from its annual summer show on Saturday.

Marion Flett, the manager of the Tilmore Road home, said the main fundraiser of the year, which covers everything from buying new CDs and DVDs to paying for cream teas for its residents, was delighted with the day.

"The weather was kind to us, there was a huge turnout, and we had a beautiful day," she said.
