GREEN-fingered volunteers planted 60 new trees at a site in Hogmoor Road for future generations to enjoy.
Organised by the Deadwater Valley Trust and the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company, residents and town councillors planted trees, built bug hotels and looked at a new bat bunker and bat boxes at the site in the Prince Philip Barracks development area.
The date of planting (November 26) and a message to future visitors was logged on a tag attached to each tree.
Participants received certificates.
Naomi Metcalfe, community development officer at the Regeneration Company, said: “A big thank you must go to everyone who took part and to the Deadwater Valley Trust who worked with us on this fabulous initiative. The building of the bug hotels was a great challenge but was one participants very much enjoyed."
