TRELOAR School has been rated as “outstanding” by Ofsted in all key aspects of its provision, confirming that it is one of the best specialist schools in the country.

Ofsted has also rated its sixth form as “outstanding” and the new early years provision as “good”.

Inspectors were particularly impressed with the “outstanding success” that students achieve at Treloar’s. Staff and governors were praised for creating a culture where students excel in their learning and the highest quality of therapy is integrated into provision to allow students to make excellent progress.

Students were well prepared for future challenges, the report said, and inspectors described the school as a “dynamic” environment in which to learn.

Treloar’s principal Martin Ingram was thrilled with the Ofsted report.

“The staff here are outstanding both in their professionalism and the way they support our young people,” he said. “I am very proud that the hard work and positive attitude of our students was recognised and that Treloar School was described by inspectors as inspiring.
