STUDENTS from Lord Mayor Treloar College and School in Holybourne and Froyle are pulling out the stops to give disabled youngsters in The Gambia the chance to go to school.
Moved by the plight of their counterparts in Africa through a "Gambia roadshow" put on by teacher Sue Slight, the students collectively have decided to raise funds for Soma School. Mrs Slight and college/school chaplain Ed Pruen recently visited the school with the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Mary Fagan.
