WARM tributes were paid this week to Dilwyn Lloyd, the president of Liphook Carnival Committee, who died after a short battle with cancer.

Mr Lloyd, 68, the former deputy headteacher of Mill Chase School in Bordon, lived in Liphook for 35 years.
