TRIBUTES have been paid to one of the founding partners of Country Market in Kingsley.

Peter Marshall died on January 19, aged 81, following “a brave battle” with cancer and other illnesses.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4.15pm next Thursday, February 23, at the Country Market for people who knew him to pay their respects.

Mr Marshall founded the Country Market business with his wife June in 1965, selling homegrown produce door to door.
