THE Bishop's Meadow Trust has moved a step closer to buying the river meadows for the town thanks to a day of reggae music and fun staged by The Plough pub.

Landlady Jacques Gotfredsen hosted the fundraiser, which featured familiar local band Brobed Stils, a barbecue and stalls.
