THE Theatres Trust has added its voice to those objecting to a new application to demolish the Redgrave Theatre in Farnham.

Almost 100 people have objected to Crest Nicholson's application for Listed Building Consent to demolish the theatre and convert the attached Grade II listed Brightwell House into two restaurant units.

The Theatres Trust, which is a statutory consultee on applications affecting theatre buildings and theatre use across the UK, added its objection this week in a letter to Waverley's head of planning Matthew Evans.
