VOLUNTEERS were out with the Deadwater Valley Trust on Saturday, helping to improve woodland in Bordon.

The volunteering day saw four volunteers venture out to work on the Bordon Inclosure.

Deadwater Valley Trust countryside ranger Freya Prince said: “The weekend volunteering went well. We had four volunteers and we were cutting out sycamore saplings and thinning some birch trees to let in more light to the woodland floor.”
