ST Mary’s Church in Frensham will give people a chance to try bell-ringing during an open afternoon on Saturday, November 4.

The ‘have a go’ bell-ringing sessions will coincide with the church’s annual Jigsaw Festival, with experts on hand to offer guidance between 2pm and 5pm.

Jill McKenzie, one of the organisers of the event, said: “Ringing a church bell is a wonderful combination of exercise, skill, balance, timing and mental stimulation.

“If you have ever thought you might be interested in finding out more about this interesting and sociable activity this event offers the perfect opportunity to give it a try.”
